Change
Hey everyone-
We just wanted to let you know that we're in the process of making some changes to our group. Becoming an organization recognized by the state, as well as a plan of action to take our group and followers to the next level. Unfortunately we can't say much about what is going to happen. But know that we will keep you updated as things happen. With the new strategies and other ideas we're looking to implement, we'd love to hear ideas from you! Please let us know what you think and what we can do to improve! Hope to hear from you all soon.

T-shirts
Hey buddies-
We just wanted to let you know that last night we put in our very first order for t-shirts! If I say so myself they are pretty sweet and you will probably want one. They're going to be reasonable($10). They are blue with ONEfight written in green. We ordered about 30. Tell your friends about them. Maybe we'll think of some incentive for when people have referrals. If you have any questions please let us know.

Curveball
Life. It's an interesting thing. One moment, things are going so well. It doesn't seem that anything can go wrong. School, work, relationships, you name it; it seems to be great. Then; without warning, one thing may start to go wrong. It seems that when that first thing goes wrong, it triggers an avalanche of other bad to begin, and within even hours of feeling so great, we may feel that we are helpless and without hope. Life has just thrown us a curveball.
During this time of stress, people may try to tell you that 'things will be ok', and that 'you're wonderful, don't worry about it, you'll be fine'. Now, most likely all of these things that your loved ones are telling you are true, but it is hard to swallow. So what are some things that you can do to pick yourself back up? Here are some ideas.
1) It's important for you to have some alone time. Some call it "ME" time. Whatever you want to call it, do it. During this alone time; whatever you do, DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN BRINGING YOU DOWN. Some things that I have found helpful are watching movies. Now, it's not easy to not think about these things. But, alone time where you don't have to think about that is important.
2) Friends are always key. There is usually a reason why some of your friends have stuck around for this long in your life. They care about you. They want to help you. Have a night out, or in, with them. Have fun. DO something different. A fun activity. Anything. They will be the ones that can help you through a lot of the difficulties that you are currently facing.
There is a song that I have liked for many years by Relient K. In the song it says, "I've got to get out of here, I'm stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake, I've got to get out of here, and I'm begging you, I'm begging you, I'm begging you to be my escape".
When we find ourselves in those ruts that we don't mean to fall in, why don't we turn to our loved ones, and find a way to escape the rut that we've fallen into, and again find the joy that life brings us. Of course, curveballs will be thrown our way. But with the help of others, there is no doubt we wont be stuck in these ruts for very long. as ONE we can all FIGHT. Fight on.

Focus= Conquering
"You get what you focus on consistently". That is the key for us to obtain anything that we want in life. However, we know that it isn't as easy as just thinking about something, and then getting it. There are 5 D's that can take us off of the path to achieving our goals.
1-Doubt: 1.to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe.2.to distrust.a feeling of uncertainty about the truth, reality, or nature of something.
When doubt enters into our mind, we become uncertain, distrust, or even question whether or not our goals or attainable, or even if our goal is worth pursuing. It is true that just throwing our doubt away is easier said than done, but, remember your goal always. If you really want it, no one can stop you from getting it. Be strong. We CAN eliminate the doubt. Feed your faith, or belief in your goal, and starve the doubt.
2- Discouragement:1.an act or instance of discouraging. 2.the state of being discouraged
When we let doubt creep into our mind, we become discouraged. We have the feeling that our goal is unattainable. We feel as if it's a "dumb thing". We question whether or not we should continue on. We begin to be dissuaded from doing what we had intended to do. Ways that I have found to fight discouragement: 1) Don't be afraid to tell others about your goal, and that you are discouraged about it. Your friends are there to help you. They can help you through anything. 2) Take some time for you. Rest, or do anything that you really enjoy. Unwind. You'll feel much better.
3- Distraction:4.that which distracts, divides the attention, or prevents concentration: The distractions of the city interfere with my studies.
Distraction takes our mind off of our goal. When this happens; we begin to wander off of the path that would lead us to what we want. It is true that staying focused on our goal can be difficult at times. It's important for us to find ways to keep our focus on our goal. I have found useful that writing the goal down, and placing it in a place where I can see it often helps. Little reminders can help keep us focused on what we truly desire.
4-Lack of Diligence: 1.(the opposite of)constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind.
Keeping focused on our goal day in and day out is sometimes much more difficult than we originally imagine. Some days; when you get up, you don't have the determination to do what is needed to achieve what you want. During the marathon training, some early Saturday mornings I found it extremely difficult to get out of bed and to go on a run. I had to always remember what my end goal was, and it would give me a motivation to go out and to do what I needed. Some days, a lack of diligence did get to me. It is useful for us to use things to help motivate us. It could be a picture of someone we look up to. A memorable quote, or a number of other things to help keep us motivated.
5- Disbelief:1.the inability or refusal to believe or to accept something as true.
Disbelief roots from doubt. As we begin to doubt whether or not our goals are achievable, we begin to think that our goal is unattainable. We don't believe(disbelief) that our goal is worth it, or that we can even accomplish such a goal. As this happens, we give up on what we are trying to do. If we don't want to fall into a state of disbelief; first, don't let doubt creep in. Use the techniques from fighting the other D's to help you continue to believe. Don't disbelieve. Keep your goal posted somewhere that you can see it often. Keep motivational items around, and also keep the end in view.
As we fight these destructive D's, we will find that we are well on our way to achieving whatever we put our minds to. No goal is unachievable as long as you can keep these Destructive D's out of our life. If we happen to let a few D's in, that is ok. We can soon eliminate them from our lives. Our friends and family are great resources in helping us. I know that we can all do whatever we set our minds to. So go out, set goals, and achieve whatever it is that you want to do.

Pushing Forward
Hello all you faithful readers. First, I just wanted to thank you all for reading this blog. It may not be many of you, but for those who do we really appreciate it.
There comes moments where we wonder if the things and ideas that we have as an organization are worth it. Questions of whether we should continue to further our causes.
The other day, I was browsing around on facebook. I was looking through a group that I had joined a while back for a person who had passed away. I couldn't help but read through the wall of the group and see what people had to say about the tragic passing of this and other individuals. It was truly sad. But through and because of that experience it gave me a renewed determination to keep pushing on, and moving forward. That is the foundation of the ONEfight organization. A 'place for individuals to come together to help each other out'. That is what these people were doing on this groups page. They were there to console each other and to help each other out.
Together we can push forward and make a difference in the lives of those around us. We're just a real life version of those facebook groups. Lend a hand. Help someone in need. Pay it forward as the movie would say. By doing these very simple things is the essence of what our organization is all about.

HELP!
Hi everyone.
We hope that you are all doing really well. We have one item of business that we'd like to discuss with you. It has come time for us to order more remember bands(thank to all who purchased our first set). What we'd like, is input from you. There are three options we have:
1)- We can order the same bands like we did last time. A grey band with orange ONEfight written across the actual band.
2)- We can order new ones. We can order a bright blue band with ONEfight debossed in the actual band(like the liveSTRONG bracelets).
3)- Or third, we can order a bright blue band, with ONEfight written in a neon green color.
The advantages to the new bands would be a more prominent color and it would create more of a buzz about the bands(people wondering what they were for).
We would like your opinion on what you want to see, or would like to have. The pricing would be a bit different depending on what you want. It wont be outrageous by any means. It would be about 2 dollars for options 1 or 2, and 3 dollars for option three. It's still a great deal, it'll just cost a bit more due to the amount we are ordering. So send us an email either here on facebook or to onefightorg@gmail.com.
If you'd like a band but can't financially let us know too what band you'd like, and we'll work something out for you. Remember, it's a good cause, something to help raise awareness, and it's just a dollar or two(really 3) to help those in need. Thanks
